Dorothy Greatest (1923-2008) was an American faucet dancer, choreographer, and trainer. She was a pioneer within the subject of faucet dance, and her work helped to form the artwork kind as it’s recognized immediately.
Greatest was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She started learning faucet dance on the age of 11, and by the point she was 16, she was performing professionally. Within the Forties and Fifties, she toured the USA and Europe with a few of the greatest names in present enterprise, together with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.
